Forsythia is also one of the first flowers of the year and early indicator that spring is around the corner (yes, even in January)! Like quince blossoms, forsythia bright yellow blossoms bloom before the leaves emerge. These vibrant colors are sometimes hard to find fresh at this time of year making forsythia a seasonal favorite. Their long, woody stems makes these flowers excellent for large-scale arrangements.
